Painting is my passion and my work is about capturing the pure essence of a subject.

I feel a connection with the earth and ocean which is why my work is inspired by seascapes and landscapes.

This inspiration is exemplified when capturing the beauty and delicacy of painting flower petals and their colours that creates the individual bloom.

Whereas Still Life for me is about making the subject come alive and painting that special moment on canvas or pastel paper.

My camera is an extension of my passion and represents another important way I'm able to seize unique situations as references for creating a painting.
